HOW WE HELP
We have a number of efforts!
We partner with local food banks across California to connect people with the resources they need.
Our volunteers have graciously helped create over 500 masks to protect people from the spread of COVID-19.
Our volunteers help deliver food right to people’s homes. Get in contact with us to learn how you can help deliver food!
Here is how we have served the community this far!
OUR AWESOME TEAM
Our team consists of current University of California students looking to make an impact in California and beyond!
Gabriel Johnson is a UCR student studying environmental sciences to better understand how he can advocate for sustainability. He is a California native who enjoys hiking and swimming. As a Food for Hope leader, he hopes to meet and work with other motivated individuals to promote unity and support the needs of the community.
Director of Communications
Emily Sweet is a second-year student at UCLA studying Communications. In her free time she loves to play guitar, write satire, and hang out with her dog. Through Food for Hope, Emily hopes to aid her own community while building a compassionate network of students from the UC system and beyond.
Director of Technology
Austin Patel is a UC Berkeley student studying electrical engineering. In his free time he enjoys baking, running, and playing frisbee and raquetball. As part of Food for hope, Austin hopes to follow his desire to serve his community and help those who are less fortunate.
